GEORGE ACOSTA

Miami-based DJ/producer George Acosta began spinning records while in his teens, emerging as a staple of the underground rave circuit thanks to his appearances at clubs including the Omen, Le Boom, Mach 1, XS Frankfurt, the Shadow Lounge and the Love Parade. The founder of his own Waxhead Records label, Acosta remixed everyone from the B-52's to Ultra Nate in addition to issuing his own records, which include 1997's Miami Beach Bash, Vol. 2 and 2000's Awake. The double series Release: AM Edition and Release: PM Edition followed in early 2001. He and trance guru ATB collaborated on Trance Nation America, Vol. 2 later that summer. Coming up in the warehouse parties in his Miami home, he then went on to produce tracks of his own with such international hits like Planet Soul Emotions take over Space RU Awake and The Reaper, he did so the next logical step for a successful DJ / producer and opened his own record store Grooveman Music in Miami

He knows his crowds so well that he is just as big fan as is his Music Like the thousands he plays for, George Acosta lives it, George tries to maintain close links to the people who come to hear him play because like them, he discovered music as a fan first

It was uconnecting its three years' residence in Miami famed Shadow Lounge that George appeared hanhantverk and began educating South Beach to this wonderful emotional roller coaster ride that was quickly moving west from Europe is now firmly entrenched in South Beach, George produced his first mix cd " Awake "This became the definitive sound of South Beach, it was the same CD that helped drive George on the world stage

With record bag and headphones in hand, George prepared to move the planet in their own unique way, he started playing some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the world of Berlin Love Parade Miami Beach Ultra Festival and Rave on the Rocks to name a few, and demand for George reaching Fever Pitch, he produced his second mix CD 'Release: AM and PM "Thisa ambitious double-CD was representative of his legendary all night sets evoking dLIKA emotions and textures of his sets from the epic string-soothed splendor to burning tech-trance

Demand for everything George Acosta soon led to other successful mix cds: eg "Trance Nation America" through the Ministry of Sound with his latest release entitled "History of Trance" on Ultra Records, George is also currently in the studio working on some original material by artists worldwide sensation Jon Secada, among other things,
